Galleon is one of Australia’s most in demand DJ's and producers, both as a DJ and as half of dynamic house production duos BoogieKnights & Chat Noir. It is this intimate connection with the dance music culture that ensures his DJ sets are chock full of the freshest upfront house, popular club tunes and the all-time classics.
Though Galleon was born without the gift of sight, his ear for quality music is second to none and as Australia’s only blind DJ, he stands as a shining example for what is possible when you combine passion, hard work and a lot of old-fashioned determination. Not only is he known for his encyclopaedic knowledge of dance music , but his talent and technical prowess behind the decks, a supernatural ability to read a room and the creation of countless mashups and exclusive edits praised by his peers.
As well as recently being 4 times nominated for best LGBTQI DJ at the Queens Ball awards, Galleon has seen success in the ARIA Club Chart multiple times including for latest single "Let Me Love You" with Tonky, Josh Creek and Madeline. He holds residencies at the Wickham, Southbeach, Strike & Archie Brothers in Brisbane as well as guest spots at Phoenix / Urge Events (Auckland), for Brisbane Broncos (Suncorp Stadium), Turtle Cove (Cairns), Poof Doof (Sydney/Brisbane), Elevate the Stage (Sydney), Thick & Juicy, Chunk, Harbour City Bears, Brisbears, World Pride (Sydney) and Brisbane Pride.
It is his passion for music and ability to share this passionate energy with heaving dancefloors that is his real strength. As he explains it, “music is a therapy and healer through good and bad times and is a great tool in bringing people together.” So, through this musical expression, Galleon manages to touch people on a deeper level whilst communicating his universal message of happiness, acceptance, togetherness and live, all whilst having a good time doing it.
